2010 Trek Madone - Early Happy Snaps

So I just got back from Two Wheel Transit with my co-worker Nick. Good news is my new bike came in today, two days early. Very cool!

It's only mostly assembled--I'll set it up tonight, but in the mean time, here are a few pics. For those of you who care about this kind of thing, it weighed in at 14.1 pounds without pedals (those are at home), but including bottle cages. Not bad for a bike with aluminum clinchers.

More to come...including actually riding it.

  1. Love it except for the pink. I'm allergic to anything pink.

  2. In that case I won't send the bike to you. :)

You and Rider 3 really are like two peas in a pod. He said something similar.

  3. I dig the pink. I like how it matched rider 1's shirt when he came in to pick it up. I was in awe as R-1 opend the clam shell box that beheld his coveted pink bike. Maglia Rosa is pink linda. It takes a tough guy to sport that! Oh I hear that pepto bizmol is good for allergies, you should try it!

  4. I wouldn't give a rip what colour my 14.4 pound bike is (if I HAD a 14.4 pound bike...)

  5. It IS a beauty...glad Trek didn't pinkify the whole bike...and honestly, if someone gave me that bike, Rider 1, I would kind of overlook the pink somehow!

  6. This from "Concerned Third Party 1" (that's Dan Rogers to you Mr. Rider #1) - 14.4 pounds is a lot of weight to carry around - I mean think of the weight of the expectations alone. Makes my Eriksen look slovenly at 15 and change. Time for a new bike I guess. And isn't brown the new pink?

  7. Mr. CTP1:

The best part of a 14.4 pound bike vs. "15 and change?" Now I can have the burger. And the beer! Hope you bring your bike on the next trip to Spokane. Look forward to showing you some of our great roads.
